Rain: We will hold the swim meet in the rain. As a rule, swim meets are only canceled, postponed, or delayed for thunderstorms (most pools require waiting to enter the water for 30 minutes after hearing thunder) and downpours so heavy that the lifeguards cannot see the bottom of the pool. We recommend bringing extra towels & ziplock bags to protect phones.

Directions: The Cleveland Waterdogs pool is at:1334 Church St. SE, Cleveland, TN 37311

Parking: There are a few parking spaces around the pool/community center as well as ample street parking. Please do not park in the bakery parking lot across the street. They will tow.

Warm-Ups: Warm-ups will begin at 5:15 pm. Please have your swimmer on the pool deck and ready to swim by that time.

Volunteering: Please check in with Mike Abraham when you arrive at the meet to confirm your volunteer assignment for this evening.

Supplies: Don't forget a swim suit (tie-back suits and suits advertising other teams are not allowed), a swim cap (plain, Cumberland, or no cap), goggles, a towel, and a water bottle. Also bring whatever food and drink your family will need. The Waterdogs do not have a concession stand.

Heat Sheet: The heat sheet is available on the swim meet schedule on our website. The heat sheet contains all of the information about which events your swimmer will be participating in tonight and which lanes they will be swimming in. Some of you may find that your swimmers are swimming up (participating in events for an age group older than their own). Summer swimming is a team sport, and we have carefully placed all swimmers in events to maximize points for our team.

Team Spirit: Most of all, we want our swimmers to have fun, swim hard, and enjoy supporting each other. If possible, please stay through the end of the meet to cheer on all of our swimmers (and the Waterdogs swimmers too!!!). We can't wait to see you tonight. Go Cumberland!!!
