Good afternoon, Currents! 

First - what a great last dual meet we had!!!  So very proud of all of the swimmers - blue paint, smiles, and great swimming!!! =)  If you have not seen it, check out the Chattanoogan.com for a really cool article that was posted about our team/final meet last night!! 

Some important items: 

Practices - We are not done! Here is the practice schedule for the rest of the season: 

7/3, 7/8, 7/9, 7/10, 7/11 - Morning practice 

7/2 and 7/10 - Evening practice

Ripples Meet - July 9th 6:30pm-8:00pm

This is our second annual meet where we celebrate our younger swimmers ..... and the older kids run the meet!!  This year we are inviting anyone 9 and under to swim.  If you have a swimmer that is 9, they can either swim or help run the meet - their choice!  There is an event posted out on the website - please RSVP whether your swimmers/older kids will be attending or not - this was such a fun night last year for all of the kids, we hope to have as many participants as we can!! 

City Meet - July 12th/13th - Baylor Natatorium 

This year we have almost half of our team attending City Meet!  This is so awesome - looking forward to a great weekend!!! Go Currents! 

Celebration Banquet! - Monday, July 15th 5:00pm-8:00pm

This is the season end celebration!   We will be providing a full Taco Bar in the Church Fellowship Hall from 5:00pm-6:15pm - along with an Ice Cream Bar for dessert! Each family, please bring your favorite Ice Cream topping to share!  Swimmer Awards will follow in the Sanctuary and then the kids will be taken to the pool for fun swim while we have a brief Parents Meeting!  We have an RSVP on our website - PLEASE let us know if you will be attending by Tuesday, 7/9 and how many in your family will be there. We will send a reminder!
