Good Evening, Currents - 

It is with utter sadness that we announce the Chattanooga Area Swim League 2020 summer swim season has been canceled.  You should have received an email from David Boyd/CASL that includes the details, but it is also posted on our Swimtopia team website.

We apologize if you have heard/seen prior communication from the church regarding the pool staying closed during 2020 and were anxiously awaiting answers from the team, but we were aware that CASL was meeting 5/7 and since they govern the league, it was best to wait and communicate after the final decision was made, as they were working hard up until the last minute to see if we could get the kids in the water.  Many thanks to the CASL board for all of their efforts! 

We are so sad ... but understand given the circumstances this needed to happen for the safety of all of us.  We will miss you dearly and hope more than anything that your families are healthy and well! 

Stay tuned for future emails, as we are still planning on having informal get togethers throughout the off season once we are all safe to do so - to get our swimmers some fun fellowship time together! 

We look forward to the Currents coming back strong in 2021 and very much appreciate all of you ... and continue to pray for our swim family, First Cumberland, community, and Country.
