The coaches and board met at the pool last night, and it looks amazing! We are so excited for the start of the summer swim season! We've got a few really important events coming up:

• This Saturday, May 13th, from 9:30am-2:30pm is Cumberland Pool Clean-Up Day! If your family can spare an hour or two (or more), come to the pool and help us get everything cleaned up and ready to go! We'll also be offering swimming assessments, help with registration, and a chance to ask any questions you may have for the coaches and the board.
• This year, we're asking that all swimmers (new and returning) participate in a Swimming Assessment! These assessments will allow us to connect swimmers with the correct coach for their experience level and age. Assessments will be offered from 9:30am-2:30pm on Saturday, May 13th & Saturday, May 20th as well as from 6:00-6:30pm on May 15th, 16th, 23rd, and 24th. • Once swimmers have been assessed, they are ready to start practicing! Weather permitting, we will be offering Pre-Season Practices from 6:30-7:30pm on May 15th, 16th, 23rd, and 24th. Our regular practice schedule will begin on Tuesday, May 30th! Please see our Practices page for more details.
• On Tuesday, May 30th, we will hold our annual Parent Meeting & Mock Meet from 6:30-8:30pm. We encourage all parents and swimmers, new and returning, to join us at the pool as we share information about our team, the season, and how this whole summer swimming thing works! After a brief parent meeting, we will hold a Mock Meet which will give our swimmers their first chance to race this year and parents an opportunity to learn about the various volunteer jobs that make our team possible!
