Good morning!

The week ahead is HOT. We will pay close attention to head advisory warnings and ask that you make sure your swimmer has extra water (+ electrolytes) to stay well at practices and meets. Please share your ways to stay cool pro-tips on the GroupMe app!

We have two meets against Big Ridge this week. Please RSVP for Monday's away meet by 5pm on Sunday here & sign up to volunteer! (Thursday's meet at Cumberland is also open to RSVP + sign up to volunteer.)

Our volunteer coordinators ask that everyone sign in at before their shirt and that clipboards + stopwatches be returned at the end of every meet. Coach Julie asks that all parents of 8 + unders on our team help with 8 + under relay wrangling. Please have your 8 + under swimmer meet in front of the Cumberland pool mural before the start of relays to help.

We have no updates about the results of our home meet against the Fairyland Flash at this time.

Mark your calendars!

• City Meet will be hosted at Ft. Oglethorpe pool on Friday, July 11th and on Saturday, July 12th. Registration is now open and will close by Monday, June 23rd. City Meet is the culmination of your swimmer's hard work all season. They can register for up to 5 events here and additionally, be placed in relays organized by our coaches. The cost is $8 per event.
• Our Team Photo will be Tuesday, June 24th at 8 pm. Please plan on having your swimmer join us whether they are at practice or not. We will meet in front of the Cumberland pool mural. Nicole Redmon has generously put together photo packages for individual swimmers (see attached). We plan to give a team photo to every swimmer at our banquet. 
• Our Mini Meet (for swimmers 10 and under and run by our older swimmers) is scheduled for Monday, June 30th 7-8:30 (please arrive by 6:30 pm.)
• Our End of the Year Banquet is Sunday, July 13th at 6 pm. We are planning to serve Mexican food and ask families to bring a dessert. A sign-up sheet will be forthcoming. Thank you!
