Unfortunately, there is a black algae outbreak in the pool.  Black algae is not dangerous to our swimmers, but our pool needs to be chlorine shocked for 3 days to protect the pool and resolve the problem.  The board and the coaches are currently discussing contingency plans for the rest of the week.  We’ll update everyone at tonight’s meeting, but swimmers should come prepared for practice in or out of the water.
